Minister Tibone launches Hole-in-the-Wall learning station in Gaborone

The Minister of Labour and Home Affairs Honourable Mbiganyi Tibone launched the Hole-in-the-Wall learning station for children at Naledi in Gaborone. The Hole-in-the-wall is a technology of the Hole-in-the-Wall Education Limited of India based on a concept developed by Dr Mitra of NIIT India who found in experiments that children can learn how to use computers and the internet on their own when exposed to the technology in an appropriate environment like the playground....................more >>

TVET WEEK

The second TVET week will start on 19th November 2007 with the launch of the HiWel computer learning centre for children in Maun. TVET week was inaugurated in 2006 at the initiative of BOTA to enable TVET stakeholders, practitioners, institutions, employers, workers and regulators to come together to map the future of TVET in Botswana and brainstorm on ways of improving the TVET system in the country. The BOTA 2007 Drama Competition DVD is out and on sale to recover production cost.
